Andrew Noble

Master of Music, Theory, Viola Performance
Andrew Noble has played string instruments, including Violin, Viola, Guitar and Mandolin, for over fifteen years, and has earned a Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance from Eastern Kentucky University and a Masters Degree in Music Theory from the University of Texas at Austin. He performs with Austin bands Infinite Partials and Death is not a joyride. In 2008 he was voted the sixth best string player in the Austin Chronicle Music Awards. He keeps a full teaching studio of violinists and violists in order to pass on the great tradition of string playing. When he is not playing, or teaching, he is probably eating something he cooked or enjoying a great film, especially if it has a great score.
