Devin Ryan

Devin began his collegiate music studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio studying guitar under Michael Richter where he studied guitar performance and pedagogy. While attending UTSA he began teaching and has continued to do so for the past 7 years, teaching a variety of students of all ages and interests in both private and classroom settings. After obtaining a Bachelors of Music from UTSA he moved to California to pursue a Master’s degree from the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he deepened his understanding of guitar and how to teach. He tries to make each lesson a joyful experience for the student, focusing on developing each person’s unique gift to the fullest extent. Devin has a gentle personality that allows the student to feel comfortable while learning even the most challenging musical concepts.
