John is a native to Austin. He received his guitar performance scholarship from Southwestern University and graduated majoring in music. In addition to studying classical guitar at Southwestern, John also played in the university jazz band and was active in the university composers collective. He is currently working on his masters in music and human learning at UT. John also Performs around central Texas as a soloist and with ensembles.
