Skye C. McManus (voice, piano, theory) is very excited to be teaching at the Orpheus Academy. An Indiana native, she received a BME and Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from Indiana State University, a MM in voice performance at Loyola University New Orleans, and Kodaly level 1 certification at Texas State University. Before moving to Austin, she taught voice and piano lessons in San Antonio in the Judson and Northeast school districts for two years, as well as elementary music. In addition to teaching at Orpheus, she teaches voice lessons at Pflugerville Middle School, and elementary music at Our Savior Lutheran School. When not teaching, Skye enjoys singing opera and studying voice lessons with Ms. Juli Wood, as well as spending time with her husband Scott.
