Adi AkkappediMaster of Music, Composition for Film & Television | Bachelor of Music, Vocal PerformanceAdi Akkapeddi is a professionally trained vocalist with over a decade of experience in performance and teaching. Coming from an Indian Telugu descent family, he studied Western classical music, Carnatic music, contemporary styles, and music composition, blending traditions from around the world into his teaching.
He earned a Master’s degree in Music Composition for Film & Television from Kingston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Middlesex University, affiliated with the KM Music Conservatory, founded by two-time Academy Award–winning composer A.R. Rahman. His training includes Indian music, Western music theory, sightreading, and performance techniques. Adi speaks and sings in English, Telugu, and Hindi, and performs in Tamil, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Italian, German, French, and Spanish. He enjoys helping students prepare for performances, auditions, and competitions while creating a positive and motivating learning environment. Outside of teaching, he produces music covers on YouTube and performs live. |
