• Talk to your teacher about the proper Musical Journey test
• Take the test and complete all the retakes
• Finalize the program for the concert and make practice plans with your teacher
• Check your teacher’s availability and set up a date, time, and place for the concert
• Make fliers and invite your guests
• Make a concert program* (ask your teacher to show you an example if needed)
• Do a dress rehearsal with your teacher (preferably at the place where the concert is going to be held)
• Get a good rest the night before and ready to shine at the performance

*Things to include in the program:

• Your (and your collaborator’s if it’s a chamber concert) name and instrument
• Date, time, and location of the concert
• List of the pieces you’re going to perform
