Daniel Seimetz

Doctor of Musical Arts, Piano Performance

Daniel Seimetz is a Brazilian pianist and dedicated educator born in Carlos Barbosa, Brazil. He studied at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where he completed a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in piano, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance under the guidance of Dr. Ney Fialkow. 

​In 2018, Daniel earned a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University. He then continued his studies at North Dakota State University, where he earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance in 2025. During his time at NDSU, he broadened his expertise by combining performance studies with collaborative piano, ultimately earning a second Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano, both under the guidance of Dr. Tyler Wottrich. 

Daniel creates a positive and engaging environment where students are motivated to reach their full potential. He fosters a supportive atmosphere that nurtures a love for music and helps students grow technically, musically, and personally. 

Daniel is fluent in English and Portuguese.
