Bachelor's in Music Performance | Pursuing Master's in Guitar Performance

Natan Bastos (26) is a classical guitarist from São Paulo, Brazil. He earned his bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the University of São Paulo in 2022, where he studied under Dr. Edelton Gloeden. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Guitar Performance at the University of Texas at Austin, studying with Dr. Adam Holzman.

Natan has performed in numerous music festivals and competitions across South America and the United States. His artistry has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the “Sergio Abreu” Award from the AV-Rio National Guitar Competition and the “Abel Carlevaro” Award from the Abel Carlevaro International Competition.

​His teaching approach focuses on creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where students can enjoy lessons by making music while learning their instrument, as well as essential musical techniques and fundamentals.
