Isha P.

"It took time for her to warm up to me since I started teaching in the middle of the year with her, but she quickly grew out of her shell and now we make jokes in our lessons all the time! She always comes prepared and with a smile on her face. When I ask her to change or adjust something in her music, she's able to make that change with ease. Her singing posture is stellar, and she's been working really hard on singing with tall vowels and beautiful tone. She practices her music regularly, has a passion for singing, and is not afraid to ask for help. I'm lucky to have her in my studio - keep up the great work Isha!"  - Ms. Kelsee

"Carson has worked incredibly hard on his instrument and has consistently made it into the top ensembles at his high school as well as Austin Youth Orchestra. He challenges himself to be the best musician he can be and always exceeds any goal I set for him. Aaryav J.

"I am happy to nominate Aaryav for student of the month. He is an extremely hard-working and talented piano student, who is making amazing progress. Aaryav has a positive, cheerful attitude and is always well-prepared for his piano lessons. He is making rapid progress in all aspects of piano playing—note reading, technique, and musical expression. In addition, he is working very hard to learn music composition, and he performed his beautiful composition (The Stream of Hope) in Theo’s Practice-a-Thon recital. In addition, Aaryav is an eager participant in most of the performance opportunities offered at Orpheus. Aaryav recently did a great job making 11 audio recordings for his Musical Journey Level 1 album project. I’m very excited to celebrate the progress that Aaryav is making at Orpheus!
