Gabrielle I.

"Gabrielle has taken on great musical challenges this semester! She's spent months preparing for the Round Rock ISD Region Orchestra audition on top of performing with her middle school's orchestra program, and participating in a competitive swim team! Gabrielle has grown greatly as a cellist in the short time that I've known her. She's determined, hard-working, and a joy to spend time with. She comes to all of her lessons ready to learn, and has enlisted her dog Smores as her personal practice helper!" — Ms. Mika

“I’m really grateful for all the encouragement and inspiration I’ve received from Ms. Mika. Even when the music gets challenging, she patiently guides me through each difficult note and helps me keep improving with confidence. Balancing the Region Orchestra audition, school orchestra, and swim practice has been tough but rewarding — and Smores, my dog, has been a great practice buddy! “George has become a super-practicer in the last few months. He is coming to lessons with week after week of solid practice, and shows real improvement every time I see him. He has a love for classical music which makes him a joy to teach. Currently he is playing 'Waltz' by Calatayud, a super cool Spanish piece. Keep it up, George!” — Mr. Stephen

Audri C.

“Audri started vocal lessons with me just a few months ago, and she comes to each lesson with ambitious vocal goals and a lot of enthusiasm for learning. While diving into all kinds of styles - including classical repertoire, theater standards, and songs from animated films - Audri commits herself to exploring how to use her voice to communicate with an audience. Beyond Orpheus Academy, she is a member of the youth program at Zach Scott Theater, and she is working hard within her school’s theater program. Audri brings dramatic flair to her repertoire and to her lessons!” — Ms. Terri
