She regularly performs in solo and chamber settings. Her appearances include recitals throughout China, the United States, and Italy. In addition to piano, she holds an Artist Diploma in Harpsichord Performance, reflecting her engagement with historical keyboard repertoire and performance practice. As an educator, Dr. Qiu brings extensive teaching experience across a wide range of levels. She has taught group piano for music and non-music majors as well as private pre-college instruction at both the University of Houston and the University of St. Thomas.
