William BunjaminMaster of Music, Piano Performance and Pedagogy
Pianist William Bunjamin is originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. He started to learn piano at the age of 4. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Pelita HarapanUniversity. To fulfill his passion in pedagogy, William came to United States and received his Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Baylor University.
As a graduate teaching assistant at Baylor, William had experiences in teaching wide variety of students in group and private settings. In addition, he also wrote a research paper on Memorization Strategies for Pianists. As a performer, William has won some prestigious national and international piano competitions such as Alberti International Piano Competition, ArsNova International Piano Competition, and Indonesia Steinway Youth Piano Competition. He also received a distinction score in his ABRSM Grade 8 exam. Moreover, he performed in several master classes by world class pianists such as Valentina Lisitsa, Prof. Oliver Kern, and Prof. Andreas Henkel. |
