Andrew MillsBachelor of Music, Music IndustryAndrew Mills is a classical guitarist from Montgomery, AL. He started playing at age 11 and attended fine arts magnet school from grades 6-12. He has played classical and electric guitar in many ensembles/bands, having performed jazz, rock, metal, bluegrass, folk, blues, gospel, and various other genres. In 2018, he was a performing artist at DAP (Danza in Arte a Pietrasanta) in Pietrasanta, Italy and went on tour as lead guitarist for POPulus (American Popular Music Ensemble) at Troy University. His experience also includes studio sessions, weddings, festivals, and special private events. He has also attended Brevard Music Institute for two summers where he studied classical guitar with Adam Holzman.
Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in Music Industry from Troy University where he studied classical guitar with Dr. Robert Gibson and music industry courses with Robert W. Smith. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance while teaching at Orpheus Academy of Music and performing in the Austin area. |
