Founded in 2003, Orpheus Academy of Music has been providing exceptional music lessons and group classes on guitar, piano, violin and voice to adults and children of all ages. Our programs help children learn the value of music in a creative, positive and nurturing atmosphere that inspires students to reach their fullest potential. Students learn to understand the importance of focus and dedication to practice while pursuing their individual musical interests and expressing themselves through music. We have years of experience in guiding people within North Austin along their musical journey and our students’ achievements such as performing at Carnegie Hall, releasing CD’s, and performing all over Austin have been recognized in The Austin American Statesman, KVUE, Fox 7, Austin Family, West Austin News, Norwalk Hour, News Times Online and many more. Austin is an amazing city to study music, whether you just want to have fun or pursue music to the highest levels. As the “Live Music Capital of the World” Austin provides a terrific source of teachers and performance venues for students and we pride ourselves on finding the best of both for our students. In July of 2023 our students and faculty will perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
