This summer, experience the joy of music through one of our many week-long camp options! Students will build musicianship skills and connect with others in fun, creative music activities.
Our in-person summer camps provide an enriching experience for children of all ages and abilities in both Austin and Cedar Park. We have camps for the complete beginner just discovering their love of music, and camps for the advanced student looking to expand their skills. Plus, camps include an end-of-week performance so that students can impress their families and friends with everything they've learned!
Camps are led by experienced, degreed teachers who love what they do. Each half-day camp includes a healthy snack and a variety of activities so that students are always moving and learning. Students can also enroll in multiple camp options, so pack a lunch and join a morning and afternoon camp to create a full day of musical fun!

All About Music
(Ages 4-7) NW Austin
Cedar Park
A music appreciation camp for young students! Campers will get hands-on experience playing fun songs on string, wind, keyboard, and percussion instruments. Each day will include different activities such as creating your own instrument, playing music theory games, group music-making, and much more! This unique camp can lead a beginner to find their favorite instrument, or deepen a more experienced student’s understanding of music. By the end of camp, students will have learned enough to impress their family and friends at a can’t-miss concert! |
Broadway Musicals
(Ages 6-18) NW Austin
Cedar Park
Students will work together to put on an amazing performance inspired by the greatest hits of Broadway! Experienced instructors will lead students through the process of auditioning, choreographing, and rehearsing songs from their favorite musicals. Campers will learn about vocal technique, acting, and dance. To maximize each student’s learning, groups will be formed based on age and ability, and all groups will come together at the end of each day to rehearse for the final performance! Be sure to invite friends and family to the big show! |
Composing for Short Film
(Ages 8-18, and at least 1 year of experience required) NW Austin
Cedar Park
Students will learn to create music that brings movies to life! Campers will be grouped by age and ability and will work together to write and perform original music inspired by awesome short films. Composers from the Austin community will guide students to make memorable melodies, harmonize, and express ideas and mood through music. |
Composition and Improvisation
(Ages 8-18, and at least 1 year of experience required) NW Austin
In this camp, students will work with outstanding composers and jazz improvisers from the Austin community to explore their full potential as musicians! Composition and improvisation techniques are skills learned through hands-on experience creating your own music. Students will be grouped by age and ability, to participate in a variety of activities to create and develop their own compositions! Activities include composing with friends, improv techniques, and composition masterclasses. At the end of camp, each student will perform their own composition for family and friends! |
Guitar/String Orchestra
(Ages 8-18, and at least 1 year of experience required) NW Austin
Cedar Park
Students will experience the joy of playing guitar, violin, and other string instruments surrounded by peers! Fast moving and engaging activities keep students moving and learning. Students will be grouped by age and experience level to enjoy improvisation classes, group music-making, mini private lessons, and more! Engaging music will be arranged so that each student plays a part that is perfectly suited to their own ability. At the end of the week, students will perform a special concert for friends and family! |
Intro to Guitar
(Ages 6-9) NW Austin
Cedar Park
Our guitar camp for kids provides the perfect introduction to get to know the instrument along with peers striving for the same goal! Guitars will be provided free of charge, and students will learn basic techniques and a few short pieces in just five days of camp. Each day will be broken into classes on technique, playing on bells and drums, singing and movement, musicianship games, and music appreciation. At the end of the week, students will perform for their family and friends at a special concert. |
Intro to Piano
(Ages 6-9) NW Austin

The perfect introduction to piano lessons for beginners! Students will get to know the instrument, learn basic techniques, and even play a few short pieces in just five days of camp! Each day will be broken down into classes on technique, playing on bells and piano, singing and movement, musicianship games, and music appreciation. At the end of the week, students will perform what they’ve learned for their family and friends as part of a final concert. |
Intro to Violin
(Ages 6-9) NW Austin

The perfect camp for aspiring violinists! In our violin summer camp, students will be provided with a violin and learn all about making music in a fun, low-pressure setting with their peers. Campers are grouped by age and ability so that they can quickly learn basic technique and music theory suited to their skill level. Each day will include different activities such as playing on bells and drums, singing and movement, music theory games, music appreciation, and, of course, playing on the violin! At the end of camp, students will perform for their family and friends in an awesome concert! |
Movie Music Ensembles
(Ages 8-18, and at least 1 year of experience required) NW Austin
Cedar Park
A fun, chamber music camp where students learn to play their favorite movie themes with friends! Campers will be grouped by age and experience level to learn some of the most dramatic and moving music ever written, and parts will be arranged for each student's ability. By the end of the camp students are sure to impress friends and family at the final concert! This is the perfect music camp for students looking for their first experience in chamber music and ensemble playing. |
Piano Ensemble
(Ages 8-18, and at least 1 year of experience required) Cedar Park
Join this one-of-a-kind ensemble experience made entirely of pianos! We’ll be playing exciting music, with individual parts tailored to each student’s skill level and ability. Fast moving and engaging classes will keep you moving and learning so you can maximize your learning potential and have fun. Classes will include improvisation, small group rehearsals, mini private lessons, and more. The camp culminates in an awesome concert, so invite your friends and family to join! |
World Music
(Ages 4-9) NW Austin
Cedar Park
Students will explore the songs, instruments, and customs of several exciting cultures by making and playing music from around the world! Campers will learn vocal techniques, rhythm, listening skills, pitch, and harmony through fun, movement-based games and group music-making. Groups will be formed based on age and ability, and everyone will come together at the end of each day for collaborative performance experiences. Students will show off everything they’ve learned at a special end-of-week concert for friends and family! |
