Composition and improvisation techniques are not learned from a textbook, but are skills learned through creating your own music. In this camp students will work with outstanding composers and jazz improvisers from the Austin community to explore their full potential as creative musicians!
Students will be grouped by age and ability, to participate in a variety of activities to develop their own compositions! Activities include composing with friends, improv techniques, and composition masterclasses. If students already have music, they can bring their compositions to share, or get started from scratch!
In just five days students will have developed their very own composition to perform for family and friends at the end-of-week concert.

Camp Fees
All Camps — $336 per camper
Additional Camps — $247 per camper
Registration Fee — $35 per family
