Aug 3–7, 9:00 am–12:00 pm The perfect camp for aspiring violinists! In our violin summer camp students will be provided with a violin and learn all about making music in a fun, low-pressure setting with their peers. Starting with a group camp experience takes away all the fear of not knowing how to play the violin and replaces it with the joy of discovering music with friends.
Violins will be provided during the camp so that students get hands-on experience from day one. Students will be grouped by age so that they can quickly learn basic technique and music theory. Each day will include different activities such as playing on bells and drums, singing and movement, music theory games, music appreciation, and, of course, playing on the violin! At the end of the week students will have learned a couple of songs and will perform for their parents at the end-of-week concert.
