Kenzie Wade

Master of Music, Music Education

Makenzie Wade earned a Master's degree in viola performance from Texas State University. She was awarded the viola position in the Texas State Graduate String Quartet during her time there. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor's degree in music education earning her a K-12 teaching license for orchestra, band, and choir.

​Makenzie has taught high school orchestra, middle school orchestra, elementary music, individual lessons, and English as second language courses online. She has performed in masterclasses with Nathan Cole, Mai Motobuchi, Dimitri Murrath, George Taylor, Mick Wetzel, and the Attacca Quartet. Makenzie has studied viola with Dr. Ames Asbell, Dr. Lenny Schranze, Dr. William Hinkie, and Emily Freudigman.
