Kristen MorrowBachelor of Music Education and Piano Performance and PedagogyKristen has been teaching private piano and voice lessons for over 30 years. Originally from NY, she studied at Manhattan School of Music for six years in their Preparatory Division. Kristen received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton NJ. During her career, she has been a high school choral director, Arts department chair, piano accompanist, music theory and history teacher, church musician, conductor, and musical theater director. Kristen enjoys many styles of music, but is classically trained and believes that is what formed the foundation for her development as a musician. She centers her teaching around helping students develop healthy technique and perceptive listening. Her main goal for her students is for them to find joy and empowerment through making music.
