Margarita Jackson

Piano Instructor | Master of Musical Arts

Margarita Jackson is a Ukrainian classical piano player. She started to take piano lessons at the age of 7 in Kyiv, where she was born and raised.

Margarita graduated from Kyiv Music College by R.M. Glier in the class of Anishenko.O.V, who is a follower of the most authoritative pedagog of Eastern Europe, Heinrich Neuhaus. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Donetsk State Academy of Music by S.S. Prokofiev with qualifications of a piano teacher, accompanist, performer ofchamber ensemble, and concert performer. While living in Ukraine, she actively participated in the musical and cultural life of Kyiv, the Donetsk region, and Poland by performing with opera singers, choirs, chamber ensembles, and as a solo pianist. Margarita has significant experience working on a cruise ship stage, where she performed for three years in a classical piano trio and a big band in the theater.

As a teacher, she encourages her students to be creative and spontaneous, to love what they do, and enjoy practicing music. Margarita enjoys traveling, trying new cuisine, and learning new cultures.
