Tips for a Successful Musicianship 1 Class

• Find a quiet place in the home where you can place your phone, computer, or tablet so that the student has their hands free.

• Set up the frame so that the student may be seen sitting at their instrument or standing near it. Include a little room to move around.

• In the space you've chosen have the following materials ready: 
  • ​Your tuned instrument
  • Your Adventures Through Sound Book
  • Pencil and paper 
  • Staff paper (download here)
  • Any other tools the student may need to play, such as a footrest, capo, music stand, etc.​
  • A safe place to set their instrument aside, preferably on a stand or in a case. 
  • Any additional materials your teacher has asked students to have ready.
