Congratulations to Niam on successful completion of his first book! The book contains two original songs and a transposed arrangement of "When the Saints Go Marching." Niam is already demonstrating good understanding of form and articulation in these first compositions. Together with his original artwork, this book reflects his unique personality.
"Songs" by Niam K. >> In his debut album, Sutirtha takes listeners on a feel-good journey with music from all around the world! Marc plays three pieces that represent his cultural and language background. From Austin, there is Matthew Hinsley’s “Light and Dark.” To represent his Mexican and Hispanic heritage, there is the Spanish folk song “El Noy de Mare.” And for his French heritage, there is Eric Satie’s beautiful "Gymnopedie No. 1."
