Here is the link to our Musicianship 3 blog for this week: Dotted Quarter Notes Video
We are studying one of the trickiest rhythms on the planet: The dotted quarter note followed by a single eighth. Please remember that you can NEVER do rhythm without feeling the beat, so make sure you are tapping the beat when you listen and when you figure out the rhythm. This assignment will be due the week of October 6th. Also, we need our guitarists and violinists to come into the classroom with their instruments tuned and ready to play "When the Train". We will be spending extra time on this song this week (of course, the pianists must be ready to play as well, but we won't be so strict about tuning your instruments ahead of time). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64yc7mDhcqc&list=UUyxz7Va_4j0mckN8qUya6Ew Comments are closed.
